Automatic Pay Station In-Lane - APL The APL is part of the industry leading OrionXR range of parking peripherals designed to operate as a Pay-In-Lane Station. It is a customer friendly and easy to use station that accepts payment from a parking customer while in their vehicle. It is ideal for installations where car park operators wish to offer increased customer convenience with automatic pay at Exit or Entry (fixed tariff). The OrionXR Pay Station is a comprehensively flexible unit capable of working independently or as part of a ZMS network system. A variety of ISO standard cards and tickets are accepted making transactions user friendly and effective. A wide range of payment methods facilitate and allow secure and fast payment transactions. The APL is able to accept payment for parking tickets and lost tickets. The standard range of OrionXR customised tariffs allow the APL to serve one or a number of car parks.
Controls and Housing
The APL cabinet's improved design allows optimum use of space and has a robust, stainless steel housing. Controls are arranged in sequence for practicality and efficiency. The LCD display ensures a clear and legible view of user information even under poor lighting conditions. Assemblies are easily accessed for straightforward service and maintenance. Payment Methods
The APL OrionXR Pay Staion securely accepts a wide range of payment methods including prepaid cards, bank cards, credit cards (magnetic stripe only), pre-coded tickets and tokens. Change is returned according to the station's specification either by coins and/or bank notes. The station's self-replenishing coin processing system checks and sorts up to 5 different coin denominations; bank notes are checked by a banknote accepting system and can recycle up to 3 different denominations (Bill to Bill option). As you would expect from Zeag the credit card handling is fully integrated into our PCI-DSS (previously known as CISP) payment system. Security
The OrionXR Pay in Lane Station is protected by a multi-level locking system for maximum security. Multiple copies of the coded information are stored on the magnetic stripe to maintain excellent media readability. Segmental evaluation of data blocks and error correction logic guarantee high operational security. Fraudulent media with false and/or insuffient data are detected, rejected and retained by the system; similarly tickets that have not been taken by users are retrieved and retained. Transaction data is stored with power failure protection by means of a buffer battery for maximum security and data protection.
