Automatic Pay Station Cashless - APC

The APC is a cashless version of the industry leading OrionXR Pay Station. It is a customer friendly and easy to use station that accepts payment by CAutomatic Pay Station Cashless - APCredit Card only. It is ideal for installations where car park operators wish to offer increased customer convenience while reducing the costs associated wish handling. Options are available to accept magnetic cardit cards or Chip & PIN transactions (subject to certification in specific countries). The APC is also available with the advanced Barcode Voucher reading discount ticket system, from Zeag. The APC is able to accept payment for parking tickets, lost tickets and allows customers to reload value cards. The standard range of OrionXR customised tariffs allow secure and fast payment transactions capable of proficiently serving one or a number of car parks.

Controls and Housing
The APC cabinet's improved design allows optimum use of space and has a robust, stainless steel housing. Controls are arranged in sequence for practicality and efficiency. The LCD display ensures a clear and legible view of user informaiton even under poor lighting conditions. Assemblies are easily accessed for straightforward service and maintenance.

Payment Methods
The APC OrionXR Pay Staion securely accepts a wide range of cashless payment methods including prepaid cards, bank cards, credit cards, Chip & PIN cards and pre-coded tickets. As you would expect from Zeag the credit card handling is fully integrated into our PCI-DSS (previously know as CISP) payment system and for Chip & PIN options is EMV compliant. The Barcode Voucher scanner option allows the parking customer to claim discounted parking fees by scanning vouchers printed from a ValiPrint.

Security

The APC handles credit card payments only and so Zeag have been able to remove the cause of theft or fraud from the cash handling system or cash boxes.

Multiple copies of the coded informaiton are stored on the magnetic stripe to maintain excellent media readability. Segmental evaluation of data blocks and error correction logic guarantee high operational security.

Fraudulent media with false and/or insufficient data are detected, rejected and retained by the system; similarly tickets that have not been taken by users are retrieved and retained. Transaction data is stored with power failure protection by means of a buffer battery for maximum security and data protection.
